Kudzu often comes off as a bit of an arrogant class clown, but he does have a good — if not at times, crude — sense of humor. He will often tease others, but also enjoys joking around and hyping his trainer and teammates. Kudzu can also be quite crafty when needed, and is skilled at in retrieving information about others — through means as subtle as eavesdropping, or even more direct as sneaking around and spying.
Kudzu leads a lazy lifestyle where he doesn’t actively train, and doesn’t aspire to pick up the habit. However, being on the team — along with his past stint practicing for Pokemon Musicals — has made him a decent battler. His battle style mainly relies on stalling, where he’ll confuse and exhaust his opponents with evasive moves before striking.

- Whether or not the Amulet Coin has any effect in battles, Kudzu likes to wear it for “good luck.”
- Kudzu was partially trained for Unova’s pokemon musicals prior to joining T.C.’s team. Though he’s not into the competitive aspect, he enjoyed and secretly misses the attention from it.
