Shuili is a half-illuminated beast with the brimming potential of a true adeptus, though even she understands she has much room to grow before earning that title. Despite playing the role of a guardian to her younger brother for much of her life, Shuili herself still feels a bit sheltered — especially away from her comfort zone in the stone forests. Her half-adeptal traits can make her discerning of potential risks, and she becomes wary and critical of those with ill intentions.
Nonetheless, Shuili harbors a deep curiosity about the larger world around her, which shines when she encounters new experiences — often pausing to take copious notes from her observations. Though naturally cautious with a tendancy to overthink, Shuili quickly warms up to those who earn her trust. She strives to be gracious with assisting her allies and looking out for their well-being, and she values both the company and opinions of those who extend the same consideration.
Shuili tends to linger around Stone Gate in Liyue, deftly dealing with bandits and monsters who threaten other travelers. She often carries a small Serenitea pot for her allies to use as a base and home-away-from-home — though over time she has become less reliant on this domain, in favor of enjoying the journey alongside her new team.
